  • The Australian elections of 2013 took place on September 7, with the Liberal/National coalition winning a majority of 91 seats. It all started on June 26, when former Prime Minister Julia Gillard lost the Labor Party leadership. She was replaced by Kevin Rudd. Gillard later resigned from the PM position. During the national elections, networks predicted that coalition leader Tony Abbott would win. As of now, his coalition is winning 91 seats, with the ALP having 55. Abbott had his victory speech hours later, with Rudd conceding the election. Abbott says that he will help the economy, and repeal the carbon tax. The 44th Parliament will open soon.
  • At a Washington Navy Yard, one former reservist killed thirteen navy soldier, before he was killed by the police. Authorities are also trying to look for another killer in this case. The first one was known as Aaron Alexis. He was a navy reservist from 2007 to 2011. There's no specification on why he left. Witnesses said that he had a long gun, like a rifle. It is unknown if this was a terrorist attack.

  • Aurica Nestmile appeared on Guadamacara TV morning show Sunshine Island, to talk about the Australian elections. She says that the elections "is a landmark". She said: "I think it's a revenge for the conservatives. They want to stop all the evils in Australia, even the carbon tax." When asked about gay marriage, she said: "I think it's up to the conservatives. As you can see, UK, Canada, Jamaica, Singapore, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand have conservative and socialist parties." Aurica gave out a congratulations annoucement to Abbott: "Good luck on the issues in Australia. It's morning again in Australia." The full interview appeared on Sunshine Island, Guadamacara TV's morning show, mornings at 9 AM.
  • Chuchu Alcoto criticized Miley Cyrus. He says that she has transformed "from a cute Disney girl, to a skanky liberal wimp." He also says that the action she did, might concern his father Billy Ray, and her boyfriend, Liam. "She so liberal today," he said.
