  • Riaan Cruywagen, the longtime veteran newsanchor of the SABC Afrikaans news, has retired today. He has been an anchor of SABC, since the corporation went into television test transmission in 1975. His last newscast has been uploaded in Afrikaans on Youtube. A documentary about him, has also been uploaded with subtitles. He'll now spend time with his family for the generations to come. Goeie geluk, Riaan.

He is here to help promote the "NO" side, to change to democracy, and to forget the past. The "NO" side still prefers the old regime of Captain Arkors, led by his son, Matthew Bartholomew Crestens. "This republic will remain strong, FOR LIFE!!!" he said in front to the "NO" supporters. Michael Wanters said in payback: "Things will never get better, in this regime. Stop this, and support us.". The referendum will take place on November 30.
