• Police officer Elgin Daniel was killed in a hit-and-run at Henry County. The suspect Rubin Marin-Garibay, was under arrest. "I was standing behind the car, and they were on the side and I was waving traffic away. The next thing, there's two bodies going through the air." said Gordon Jarrett, driver of his mustang. Elgin Daniel died at the hospital, while doctors were taking out the bullets. Marin-Garibay is charged with homicide, and hit-and-run. Officer Daniel will be remembered by so many people he knew.
